Privacy

A short, plain-language data notice.

What is collected

When you join the newsletter, the site may collect your first name, email address, stated interest, consent time, signup source and campaign parameters. It may also record aggregate engagement events such as page visits and link clicks.

When you submit a partnership enquiry, the site stores your name, organisation, work email, enquiry type and message in a private Notion inbox. It may also send the enquiry to dev@devagarwal.co through Resend so I can review and respond.

A one-way hash of the requesting network address is retained briefly to limit automated form abuse; the site does not store the address itself in subscriber or enquiry records.

Messages you send directly contain whatever information you choose to include.

Why it is used

Newsletter data is used to deliver Event Horizon, operate its welcome sequence, understand which entry point brought you here and improve the work. It is not sold, and ordinary newsletter consent is not permission to transfer individual subscriber data to a sponsor or lead buyer.

Processors and location

The site keeps an independent subscriber record so delivery is not dependent on a single email provider. Kit processes newsletter and engagement data in the United States. Resend may carry partnership enquiry emails. Vercel hosts the website, records operational request logs, and collects anonymous page-view and performance measurements without advertising cookies. Notion stores partnership enquiries and editorial content used by the site. Plausible may also be used for cookieless aggregate interaction measurements when that integration is active.

Retention and your choices

Subscription data is kept while you remain subscribed. After you unsubscribe, only the information needed to honour the opt-out and meet legitimate legal or operational obligations is retained. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe route.

You can ask to access, correct or erase your information by emailing dev@devagarwal.co.
